Bolivian Visitor

What a great joy to have one of my Bolivian best friends here for a visit! Marcos was up north looking into a language school and graduate school, but got to come hang out in Florida for a few days before heading back home. We took great advantage of his first trip to Florida!

Besides going to the beach, the one thing that Marcos asked if we could do was go to Disney World. I’ve only been once before, but Kirsten came along too and was a much better guide than I would have been alone. Marcos was so giddy with excitement it was just hysterical!

Other special requests included trips to KFC, McDonalds, and Starbucks (they are exciting because of how often they show up in movies). And my favorite was having him at my little church here in West Palm!

We left for the Miami airport in plenty of time to check out another language school and grad school in Miami as well as hit the famous South Beach and have dinner at Bayside. Can’t blame him for having a hard time getting on the plane after all of that!!
